Mix butter, sugar, vanilla seeds and salt.
Add the eggs one by one. Mix.
Mix flour and baking powder. Sieve flour onto the mixture. Mix the whole mixture well. Add buttermilk. (Buttermilk may be added concurrently with flour.) Mix.
Bake the waffles in a waffle maker.
